Community Rules

Who can be here

• You must be 18 or over to submit an entry or to judge.
• No minors may appear in, be recorded in, or be the subject of any entry.

What an entry must be

• Your own recording, made by you, of a real fart.
• Ten seconds or less. Longer audio is rejected automatically.
• No speech, names, addresses, or anything else that identifies a person — yours or anyone else's.
• No sexual, fetish, or intimate audio.
• No recording of anyone who did not agree to be recorded.
• No copyrighted music or other protected audio.
• No threats, hate, or harassment, in the audio or the title.
• No reusing or stealing someone else's recording. Exact duplicates are detected and rejected.

What is public

• For public competition entries, your username, entry title, audio, score, and rank are public.
• Anyone can play, link to, and download your audio.
• Sharing is the point. Once a link or a file is out, it cannot be recalled — including after you withdraw.
• In a public league, anyone can see the league display names, matchups, locked weekly entries, results, and standings. Public league entries still stay out of the Global competition.

Group leagues

• A group league is either a two-person rivalry or a league of 4 to 12 adults. Three is not supported because every matchup would leave exactly one eligible judge.
• League entries never appear on the public leaderboard, in the Judging Room, or on the Throne.
• A private league can be opened and heard only by its members. A public league can be watched by anyone at its public URL once the commissioner chooses that visibility before the season.
• In leagues of 4 to 12, members who are not competing in a matchup vote on it. In a two-person rivalry, both contestants vote; the league's scouting-desk setting resolves the cases assigned to it.
• The same rules apply inside a league. Report anything that breaks them; platform moderators can remove it, and your commissioner cannot.
• A member who can hear your entry can also save a copy of it. No system can prevent that.
• Private Leagues are free during beta. If paid commissioner plans are introduced later, an active season will never be paywalled mid-season.

How judgment works

• Ratings are opinions from members of the public. They are not measurements of anything.
• Official Scouting Reports are AI-generated colour commentary. They are entertainment, not analysis, and they say nothing about whether a recording is genuine.
• The Throne is decided by head-to-head ballots and never changes an entry's Global rating.

Reporting

Anyone can report an entry or a competitor. Reports are reviewed by a human operator. Reporting does not guarantee an outcome, and does not guarantee a fast one. We do not publish report counts, and we do not tell the reported person who reported them.

What happens when a rule is broken

• An entry may be quarantined while it is reviewed, or removed entirely.
• An entry may be disqualified from the competition while remaining online.
• An identity may be suspended, which stops it publishing, rating, judging, and reporting.
• Removal deletes the stored audio. It cannot recall copies already downloaded or shared.
